My old 99 Johnson 50hp 2-stroke seemed to be running well, little did I know that my oil pump wasn’t. My engine threw a rod right through the side of the head. I didn’t want to spend the money on a new motor and all-new controls so they found a used motor for me. The motor was checked out completely and they removed the old motor and replaced it with this replacement motor. My boat ran as good as ever and I was back on the water at a fraction of the price of a new engine and controls.
